A waterless urinal offers a lot of advantages over a flush urinal. It is vital, though, that the waterless urinal is properly installed. Waterless urinals are relatively easy to install compared to flush urinals, as there is no need to have a water inflow for flushing purposes.
This does not mean that they can be installed by just anybody. Make sure that the person doing the installation knows what they are doing. This is especially important when doing a retrofit, as part of the old, flush type urinal is removed and replaced with a waterless type.
Your waterless urinal supplier should be able to either install the urinal for you, recommend someone to do it for you, or give you guidance/training on doing it yourself.
